FlushMaps
Community & Safety
Last updated: June 21, 2026
FlushMaps works because people help each other. These guidelines keep the map trustworthy and the community respectful.
Contributing responsibly
- Be accurate. Add real locations and honest ratings. Accurate cleanliness and accessibility info helps people who truly need it.
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate, or abusive language in reviews or reports.
- Be relevant. Keep photos and comments about the facility — never include other people's personal information.
- Report problems. If a toilet is closed, unsafe, or out of order, flag it so the map stays current.
Accessibility honesty
Accessibility details help people decide whether a place will work for them or someone they care for. Only mark accessibility features you have actually observed — incorrect information can leave someone stranded.
Your personal safety
- Use your own judgement when visiting any location, especially at night or in unfamiliar areas.
- FlushMaps shows community information — conditions can change, so stay aware of your surroundings.
Moderation
We may review, edit, or remove content that breaks these guidelines, and may restrict accounts that repeatedly do so. You can report inappropriate content from within the app.
